NeoForge (1.20.4, 1.20.1) is a Minecraft Forge fork backed by the original Forge team. After some recent disagreements between lead developers, the entire Forge team has resigned from working on the mod-loader. This led to the development of this new mod-loader called NeoForged, which replaces Forge with the latest versions of the game. Many prominent mod developers have already started adding NeoForge versions to their mods.
